Digital painting/portrait of one of my elf OCs, Nerox. I intended to make it a simple piece but the background got away from me, but I'll consider that practice of drawing environments. Used to never "do" backgrounds as a traditional artist so background painting is relatively new to me. Given his (as of right now unwritten) backstory, I compiled some pre-1940s references of Rotterdam and used them as the background.
